Tax Manager

Title: Tax Manager (Public Accounting)
Location: FULLY remote in the US. 
Salary: $120k-$150k salary + Bonus + Benefits. TRUE work life balance. No more than 45-55 hr busy seasons. 
Requirements: 
- CPA and 3+ years of experience in the Big-4 or 5+ years of experience at a Mid-Market Firm. 
- Experience as a Senior/Supervisor, Manager or even Senior Manager. We're Flexible on seniority.

The Role
We are looking for a CPA to join our team in a client-facing capacity, working directly with business owners to deliver high-value tax and advisory services. In this role, you will manage client relationships, identify planning opportunities, and play a key part in developing and executing tax strategies. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with internal teams to ensure strong client outcomes.
This is an opportunity to grow into a more front-facing, advisory-driven role where you can expand your influence and become a trusted partner to clients over time.

Requirements

  • CPA required
  • Background in public accounting (Big 4 or large firm preferred)
  • Experience as a Supervisor or Manager is highly preferred
  • At least 3-4 years in Big 4 OR 5+ years at mid-market firms
  • Experience working directly with business owners, S corps, partnerships, and high-income clients
  • Strong tax planning mindset with ability to identify advisory opportunities
  • Comfortable working independently while managing client relationships
