Position Overview

Join Youth Empowerment Services as a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This pivotal role is designed for dedicated professionals who are eager to provide crucial support and therapeutic services to individuals battling major mental health issues and emotional disorders. Your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of clients in a detox center environment, where you'll work collaboratively with a compassionate team committed to improving community health.

About the Organization

Youth Empowerment Services is committed to fostering healthier communities by delivering high-quality, patient-centric healthcare in medically under-served regions. Our mission focuses not only on care for clients but also aims to inspire similar health centers by setting the standard in service accessibility and effectiveness. By thinking globally and acting locally, we advocate for vulnerable populations, ensuring that quality healthcare is available to all, regardless of financial capability.

Work Environment

This role allows for a flexible remote work setting while still being integrated within a supportive detox center framework. As a member of our team, you will be working from home but remain connected with healthcare professionals, clients, and support staff through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms. This environment enables you to maintain work-life balance while being fully engaged in proactive community service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized clinical services to clients with mental health challenges through both in-office consultations and community engagements.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at their specific needs and circumstances.
  • Facilitate a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring that sessions are effective, respectful, and empowering.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans, ensuring seamless access to additional services for your clients.
  • Engage in crisis intervention techniques as necessary, providing immediate support and resources to clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and overall quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting care strategies as needed to optimize recovery and support.
  • Provide on-call support during designated hours to ensure ongoing client accessibility and assistance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals navigating severe emotional reactions and symptoms stemming from major mental health conditions. Working within the detox center, you will provide essential support to clients during their recovery journey, including tailoring interventions to accommodate diverse backgrounds and complex needs. Your role in fostering a safe, supportive environment will be crucial in helping clients regain stability and pursue their well-being goals.

Qualifications
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, while a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues, including risk assessment and crisis management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect deeply with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently and produce timely documentation.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the overall well-being of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health or social services setting.
  • Background in working with similar patient populations, particularly in detox or rehabilitation environments.
  • Proven capability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented approach to service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Youth Empowerment Services provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, professional development support, and flexible scheduling.

Career Growth Opportunities

You will be joining an organization that values continuous learning and professional development. Opportunities for advancement are available, along with mentoring programs, workshops, and community-led initiatives to enhance your skills and career. Our commitment to employee growth means you can pursue further specialties within social work or healthcare leadership roles.

Why Join Our Team

At Youth Empowerment Services, you will be part of a passionate and supportive community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. We value teamwork, integrity, and innovation and offer a collaborative environment where your insights and contributions are welcomed. If you want to empower clients and be part of a transformative mission in healthcare, we invite you to apply.
