We have an exciting REMOTE work opportunity for a Senior Manager, Global Trade Services Administrator!

The Authorizations Management team plays a key role in ensuring compliance with Global Trade (GT) export authorization requirements across Pratt & Whitney’s (P&W) footprint. As part of the Global Trade Requirements Management (GTRM) organization, the Authorizations Management team develops the policies, processes, and tools that govern the compliance framework for the enterprise’s global authorization portfolio. 

This position will be responsible for sustaining and enhancing P&W’s instances of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). This will include maturing and documenting processes that underpin the configuration and use of the application, with a focus on building knowledge across the enterprise and identifying areas of risk and improvement. The role will work closely with GT and Digital Technology (DT) peers across both P&W and RTX to benchmark best practices and opportunities for standardization. Additionally, the candidate will provide support for the enterprise upgrade to S4HANA/E4H, ensuring continuation of P&W processes throughout the transition.

The successful candidate will be adaptable to regularly changing priorities, be able to manage projects with minimal supervision, and have a record of success working with cross-functional teams. The individual must be a self-starter who is able to identify business needs and respond accordingly. 

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure compliant integration of GTS functionality (i.e., Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management) across US and non-US P&W locations, including testing and validation of new initiatives (e.g., plant creation, new business activity, system upgrades)
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable processes for the compliant upkeep of GT master data that underpins GTS functionality (e.g., Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, Export Control Numbers (ECN), Sanctioned Party and Embargo lists)
  • Develop and update guidance and other instructional materials for GT processes and requirements related to P&W ERP system(s) requirements, including GTS
  • Publish robust standard procedures for compliant management and use of GTS
    Develop intake process for logging and resolving issues relating to use of GTS application, leveraging data to inform improvement initiatives
  • Support SAP and GTS initiatives as part of enterprise upgrade to S4HANA and E4H, with a focus on change management planning
  • Partner with GT’s Process Performance and Quality Control (PPQC) team to develop processes for GTS data extracts in support of KPI development and monitoring
  • Provide GTS subject matter expertise support to GT Investigations and Audit teams

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with SAP/GTS or similar applications – this should include experience managing processes that triage system defects, including risk assessment and driving action items through closure, as-well-as experience simultaneously managing multiple, cross-functional projects successfully; OR an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of experience with SAP/GTS or similar applications – this should include experience managing processes that triage system defects, including risk assessment and driving action items through closure, as-well-as experience simultaneously managing multiple, cross-functional projects successfully
  • 2+ years of experience with implementation, configuration, and/or functional oversight of one or more GTS modules, preferably Compliance Management

  • Experience with navigating and integrating data from disparate sources (e.g., SQL, Databricks, Access)
  • Prior experience working within relevant areas of GT compliance (e.g., export authorizations, export classifications, HTS classifications)

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
