Job Description
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy designing and troubleshooting complex systems while collaborating across disciplines in a fast-paced industrial environment? If so, we invite you to join our Technical Services team as an Electrical Engineer at our Corporate Office in Phoenix, Arizona!
Our ideal location is the Phoenix area, where this position is based. However, for highly qualified candidates, we may offer hybrid or remote flexibility if you reside near one of our centrally located plants. Occasional onsite presence will be required for project execution, training, and plant support.
Eligible plant locations include:
  • Ponca City & Tulsa Oklahoma
  • Coffeyville, Kansas
  • Billings, Montana
  • Defiance, Ohio

What You'll Do
Develop electrical plans, specifications and calculations for small to medium projects with limited supervision.
Perform short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and power studies using ETAP or equivalent software.
Troubleshoot electrical and signal issues; support I&E technicians on plant modifications or additions.
Size equipment and specify components, including MCCs, switchgear, transformers and feeders.
Review and redline P&IDs, drawings and specification sheets.
Assist with project proposals, client meetings and scope development.
Provide on-site support during plant startups, turnarounds and capital projects.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
โ€ข A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
โ€ข 3-7 years of industrial electrical engineering experience (chemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial preferred)
โ€ข Strong knowledge of electrical design fundamentals (grounding, wiring, schematics, lighting, cable tray, etc.)
โ€ข Proficiency in ETAP (or equivalent) for electrical studies; AutoCAD experience preferred.
โ€ข Working knowledge of NFPA codes (70, 70E, 496, 497, 655, IECC).
โ€ข Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to manage multiple project timelines.
โ€ข Willingness to travel 20-25% to support projects and plant operations.
