The work environment at Brain Power Health is a remote outpatient office setting where counselors will professionally engage with clients through telehealth platforms. • Deliver high-quality counseling services tailored to individual client needs, ensuring that all interventions align with best practices and facilitate progress toward their goals.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual standards, ensuring that all practices uphold the integrity of our services and align with Medicaid and Medicare requirements.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, communicating promptly and clearly to optimize the care for each client.
• Document all client interactions comprehensively and accurately, including therapy notes and progress reports, in adherence with our established documentation standards.
• Support clients in enhancing their daily living skills, such as budgeting, meal planning, and self-care routines, while respecting their readiness to take on increased responsibilities.
• Monitor client moods and behaviors to assess their emotional and psychological well-being actively, providing interventions as needed to ensure a supportive environment.
• Assist clients with medication management tasks, including setting reminders for medication intake and ensuring medications are refilled as necessary, in accordance with the therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate transportation for clients when required, guiding them through the utilization of public transport systems to promote independence and access to essential services.
• Oversee the acquisition and management of household and office supplies to ensure smooth operations in delivering care.

The clients served by Brain Power Health Counseling encompass a broad demographic range, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Counselors will work with individuals facing diverse challenges, from mental health disorders and behavioral issues to life transitions and trauma recovery. Education: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field that meets state licensing requirements.

Licensure: A valid mental health counseling license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) recognized in California is required. We are seeking fully licensed professionals, as associates are currently not billable through Medicare.

Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong communication, and the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Experience working with a geriatric population is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable managing a full caseload in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases effectively.

The salary range for this position is competitively set between USD 80,000 and 122,000 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
