Position Overview

Modern Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies that incorporate behavioral guidelines and medication management.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring that records are maintained accurately.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to assess client needs and progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute positive behavior support plans tailored to each client’s unique situation.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation activities, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, state agencies, and community organizations.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to meet contract standards and promote the mission of Modern Psychotherapy.
  • Engage with local, state, federal, and private agencies to foster partnerships, enhance visibility of our programs, and secure funding opportunities.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities through conferences, workshops, and participation in statewide meetings.
  • Promote and embody the agency's mission, values, and principles in all professional interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, providing mental health counseling to individuals facing a variety of challenges, including those recovering from substance use disorders, managing developmental disabilities, or navigating mental health crises. Your supportive and empathetic approach will be critical in helping clients achieve recovery, wellness, and reintegration into the community.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a related mental health field is required.
  • An independent LMHC license is mandatory for this position.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with crisis intervention and case management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and behavioral support programs.
  • Proficiency in using digital documentation and telehealth platforms is advantageous.
