Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans addressing both pre-crisis and crisis situations, including behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.
• Document all clinical encounters and interventions in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely completion of required paperwork.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to assess client needs effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Actively participate in the clinic’s licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high operational standards.
• Serve as a liaison, coordinating with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to benefit clients.
• Foster strong communication across various levels, ensuring contract standards are met while promoting Modern Psychotherapy's mission in the community.
• Develop and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote services and explore new partnership opportunities.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities, attending conferences and workshops to enhance your professional development and represent our agency.
• Embody and promote the agency's mission, values, philosophy, and principles in all interactions and practices.
• Perform additional tasks as designated by the Clinic Director to support the clinic's objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will serve a diverse population, including individuals facing emotional difficulties, mental health disorders, and substance use challenges. You will work closely with clients to develop therapeutic relationships that prioritize their unique needs and experiences. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is required.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license in Massachusetts is essential.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are critical, candidates with prior experience in community health settings, crisis intervention, and collaborative care models will be given preference. Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and skill in developing treatment plans that address complex client needs will greatly enhance the candidate’s contribution to our team.
