Job Summary
Adjunct Sociology Instructor to teaching asynchronously via the Canvas learning management system starting Spring Semester 2027.
Essential Functions
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications
Master of Sociology or any master's degree with 12 graduate semester credits in Sociology.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
