Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to drive business development and revenue growth for next-generation AI infrastructure connectivity solutions, including 400G, 800G, and 1.6T optical transceivers, ACC, AEC and DAC high-speed interconnects supporting AI, NeoCloud, and data center deployments. This is a remote position covering accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area & Pacific Northwest.

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise sales capabilities with a solid understanding of AI networking architectures, optical communications, and data center infrastructure. This role will focus on developing strategic relationships with enterprises, cloud service providers, AI infrastructure companies, and system integrators.

Key Responsibilities

-              Drive new business acquisition while expanding revenue opportunities within existing strategic accounts for 400G to 1.6T optical transceivers and high-speed cable assemblies.

 

-              Develop account penetration strategies targeting NeoClouds, Cloud Service Providers, AI infrastructure providers, and enterprise data center customers.

 

-              Own and achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue targets for assigned territories.

-              Forecast revenue accurately and provide regular updates on pipeline status, customer engagement, and closing timelines with the executive management.

-               Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline sufficient to consistently exceed quota objectives.

-              Support pricing strategy, RFQ, RFI, RFP, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions to maximize revenue and profitability.

-              Meet or exceed KPI metrics including bookings, design wins, customer qualifications, and margin targets.

-              Maintain executive-level engagement with customers to support long-term account growth and strategic partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

-              Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field, with a strong understanding of technology-driven business environments.

-              5+ years of successful sales, business development, or account management experience in optical networking, data center infrastructure, cloud, telecommunications, or related technology markets.

-              Experience selling 400G, 800G, or 1.6T optical transceivers, AEC/DAC/ACC for AI infrastructure solutions.

-              Knowledge of AI cluster architectures, Ethernet fabrics and high-performance networking.

-              Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.

-              Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

-              Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.

-              MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
