JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Investor Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing basic to complex reconciliation projects, reviewing various investor reports, schedules, and reports related to the servicing of loans while coordinating with Investor Reporting to ensure data accuracy. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. ย The Approved Target Pay Range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000.ย 

What you'll do:

  • Reconciles advanced actual/actual, scheduled/actual and scheduled/scheduled investor principal and interest and taxes and insurance bank accounts, and research and review out of balance issues and make recommendations to resolve ensuring that the 30-day deadline required by SEC Regulation AB and the 90 days to resolve is met while making sound company financial decisions.
  • Analyzes remittance differences between investor accounting reports, the loan servicing system and remittance reports to maintain appropriate cash in custodial accounts.
  • Provides adequate backup to support the financial transactions needed to reconcile the bank account.
  • Provide adequate backup to support the reconciliation packet.
  • Validates data coming from other departments and works with those departments to resolve any discrepancies, e.g., modification reports and liquidation reports.
  • Researches pool to security and tests expected principal and interest differences, keeping management notified of any issues.
  • Supports other team members as needed to meet deadlines for reporting.
  • Reconciles other specialty accounts (escrow disbursement account, corporate disbursement, escheatment account, 203K accounts, etc.).
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience, including investor accounting and/or reporting, required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Access database skills
  • Working knowledge of Investor Reporting
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
