• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify individual mental health needs and establish baseline data for treatment.
• Create dynamic, personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, guiding clients in addressing their goals, challenges, and progress in a supportive environment.
• Effectively manage crisis situations by employing de-escalation techniques and actionable intervention strategies to ensure client safety and emotional stability.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions, keeping abreast of the latest mental health practices and regulations.

Your work will primarily focus on low-acuity clients who have been carefully pre-screened to ensure a good fit for remote counseling. Many of these individuals may be seeking support with anxiety, mild depression, and stress management. By working within this demographic, you’ll help clients build resilience and develop effective coping strategies, leading them to improved mental wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.
• A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and a passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive client experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and client management.

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with experience working remotely or with diverse populations are highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is a plus, as these tools will complement your role in delivering quality distance therapy.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
