• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately determine clients' mental health needs and substance use patterns.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals and recovery journeys.
• Provide direct counseling services to clients, including individual, couples, and group sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in adherence to all ethical and legal standards, ensuring comprehensive documentation for continuity of care.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and continuing education to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in addiction treatment.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Crossroads Counseling Center, you will work primarily with individuals facing challenges with addiction to substances such as alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. These clients may be dealing with co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Your expertise will be critical in promoting recovery through personalized care and tailored therapeutic approaches.

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field, with a strong focus on counseling or psychology.
• An independent LMHC license in New York State, allowing for autonomous practice.

• Experience in addiction therapy or substance use counseling preferred, with familiarity in evidence-based practices.
• Previous work with diverse populations and knowledge of cultural competency in mental health services.
