Job description

The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides 5 areas of service including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Energy and Code Consulting.

We are currently looking for Interns to join our Structural Engineering team. The chosen candidates will provide technical support to our project managers and will be given a number of opportunities to gain practical knowledge and experience in the vertical-construction structural engineering field. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with various team members to explore many different facets of Structural Engineering.

A successful candidate will be self- motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their knowledge through working in the Structural Engineering industry. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual have a positive attitude, and possess a willingness to learn and be a part of the LaBella team.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (working towards Master's preferred).
  • Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Software knowledge such as Microsoft office, and Revit preferred.
  • Team oriented with a positive attitude.
