LMI is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong DevSecOps expertise to support a U.S. Army enterprise program. This role will design, build, and operate in a secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline environment that power mission-critical Army systems and platforms. This position will be accountable for the availability, security, and performance of the environments the Army's teams rely on to support their enterprise systems.
This position requires an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimize robust, secure CI/CD pipelines within GitLab, enforcing DevSecOps principles through automated vulnerability scanning and compliance gates.
  • Standardize deployment templates and pipeline workflows to improve development velocity across the team.
  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and scaling of ERP testing platforms, including Tricentis Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, LiveCompare, and others.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex hybrid deployments, ensuring seamless interoperability between containerized microservices on EKS and monolithic applications running on EC2.
  • Manage and scale AWS infrastructure, optimizing workloads running on EKS, EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Implement and enforce strict cloud security controls, including advanced IAM policies, VPC security, and least-privilege access across environments.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across EKS and EC2 nodes to ensure maximum uptime of critical testing infrastructure.
  • Serve as a key technical resource for troubleshooting environment-related failures and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud/Systems Engineering, with a proven track record of managing production environments.
  • Infrastructure & Containers: Strong, hands-on experience with AWS services, with deep operational knowledge of EKS (Kubernetes deployments, service networking) and EC2 instance management.
  • CI/CD Expertise: Proven experience building, securing, and maintaining complex pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in Python or Bash to automate system configurations, database backups, or API-driven tool integrations.
  • Security Mindset: Practical experience integrating security tools (SAST/DAST, container scanning, secret detection) directly into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, mentor junior team members, and interface effectively with testing and QA engineering leads.
  • Active Secret security clearance

Desired Skills
  • Direct experience installing, configuring, or upgrading EPR software testing tools.
  • Solid experience managing cloud environments using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with AWS RDS configuration, tuning, and migrations supporting enterprise test repositories.
