Description

We are looking for both surface and mineral title experienced agents to complete various remote title tasks in an efficient manner and to furnish a correct final deliverable.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Research vesting title, surface title, or mineral title using online resources (including production history when required).
  • Communicate with Field Agents regarding needed research to cover gaps, Probates, District Clerk, etc.
  • Examine documents provided by Field Agents.
  • Using CityVerse, enter required data to generate necessary reports or use the client provided program to create reports.
  • Prepare flowcharts, Plats & Deed Plots.
  • When required, review other agents' work & make corrections. Prepare final deliverable to be sent to the client.
  • Collaborates well with others and functions as part of a team to accomplish a common goal.
  • Follow specific instructions regarding CityVerse and other software.
  • Performs title obligations in a manner that is consistent with title protocol directions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Highly knowledgeable in Oil & Gas Mineral Title and Surface Title requisites in the various states Percheron operates.
  • Sufficient knowledge to display the ability to quickly access online records and review documents to complete a chain of titles.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per the work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and working overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Spends 100% of the time in an office or remote environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • It is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
