Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify specific therapeutic needs and develop rapport.
  • Provide individual and family therapy tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient, utilizing evidence-based interventions aimed at fostering resilience and recovery.
  • Ensure timely completion of all billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms to maintain compliance and facilitate seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans, guiding patients toward achieving stable functioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during case consultations and agency meetings to enhance treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans that facilitate the smooth transition of patients out of acute care, whilst also supporting their long-term mental health needs.
  • Maintain professional competence through regular participation in training sessions and continuing education, ensuring adherence to all federal and state laws as well as NEHS policies and procedures.
  • Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory trainings necessary for practice within the state, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Impireum, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our holistic approach ensures that we not only address the immediate mental health needs of our patients but also take into consideration their cultural backgrounds, family dynamics, and individual circumstances. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline that leads to licensure.
  • Active licensure as a mental health therapist (e.g., LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or clinic.
  • Proficiency in culturally competent care practices and familiarity with diverse populations.
