This role will be completely remote, allowing you to establish a comfortable and productive workspace at home. You will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes wellness and flexibility, with extensive administrative and technological support provided. Counselors will utilize an all-in-one therapy platform that serves as a virtual office, facilitating live sessions through video or text, as well as secure messaging with clients.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via video chat, focusing on enhancing their mental health and overall well-being.
• Encourage open discussions with clients to explore their emotions and experiences, guiding them toward greater self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.
• Act as a client advocate, helping them articulate and define their goals for therapy.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and devise tailored treatment plans, utilizing solution-based approaches informed by your clinical experience.
• Document each session efficiently, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards while minimizing paperwork so you can concentrate on providing quality care.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities offered by the organization, staying updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

Your clients will consist of carefully screened, stable adults with low-acuity mental health conditions. The caseload is designed to match your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a satisfying and productive therapeutic experience. You can expect to work predominantly with individuals seeking support for anxiety, mild depression, relational issues, and other common challenges rather than severe mental illnesses.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Full licensure as a mental health professional in good standing to practice independently without supervision. Acceptable licenses include but are not limited to:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No provisional or limited licenses, and clear of any disciplinary actions from state licensing boards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature are essential to effectively build relationships with clients.
• Proficient in using computers and telehealth platforms, enabling smooth communication and service delivery.

While not mandatory, previous experience in a telehealth setting, particularly with populations similar to those served by Life Mend, will enhance your application. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy best practices is also advantageous, as it prepares you for immediate engagement.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on hours worked and caseload. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
