What is a remote testing center supervisor?

A Remote Testing Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration of exams in a remote or virtual setting. Their duties include ensuring that testing protocols and security measures are followed, supporting test-takers with technical or procedural issues, and reporting any incidents of misconduct. They play a key role in maintaining the integrity and smooth operation of remote testing environments, often coordinating with both candidates and test providers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote testing center supervisor?

To thrive as a Remote Testing Center Supervisor, you need expertise in test administration, familiarity with academic integrity protocols, and often a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience with remote proctoring platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and certification in test security or administration is valuable. These capabilities ensure secure, fair testing environments and smooth operations for candidates and staff in a virtual setting.
