This position is currently remote in the Greater Boston Area only and must be willing to work hybrid 3 days per week to a Boston office in the future.

What you'll own
  • Understand and test software for scalability, reliability, and data recovery associated with a high-volume, high-availability platform
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Support) to convert business requirements into test automation
  • Support the deployment of new features into production with zero platform downtime and no impact to end customers who are currently processing
  • Work in a "team focused" culture, where strong collaboration and communication are critical
  • Work on a core project team alongside software engineers to ensure that quality is built in from the start
  • Utilize iterative Agile software development lifecycle
  • Build domain expertise in e-commerce payments and apply your engineering expertise to testing new product features

What you'll bring
  • A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 8-10 years of relevant job experience in Software QA Engineering, not including internships.
  • Ability to quickly grasp high-level business goals, derive requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions and testing strategies
  • Ability to fluidly change context and priorities based on changing business needs
  • Proficient with Java
  • Expertise with SQL, JSON, XML, RESTful APIs, Postman (or equivalent)
  • Expertise with microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Expertise with automated testing methodologies for SaaS platforms and data driven systems required (e.g. Karata, Cucumber)
  • Experience with automated UI regression testing tools

It's a bonus if you have
  • Selenium experience
  • Linux/Unix/scripting (e.g. Perl, Python) experience
  • Eclipse or IntelliJ experience
