Job description

This fully remote temporary role supports the mortgage lifecycle from application through closing, with a strong focus on document collection, disclosure accuracy, and maintaining an efficient pipeline. The position blends responsibilities across loan processing and disclosure preparation, ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering a smooth borrower experience. Candidates must live in or have experience working in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone hours.
Responsibilities
  • Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation to ensure files are complete and ready for underwriting
  • Prepare and issue initial disclosures and updated loan estimates in compliance with regulatory timelines (TRID)
  • Obtain required borrower acknowledgments, including closing disclosure approvals, to support on-time closings
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline, maintaining productivity and accuracy across approximately 50+ loans per month
  • Verify borrower identity and ensure compliance with applicable federal requirements
  • Confirm all minimum submission standards are met before advancing files in the process
  • Assist borrowers and internal partners with questions, updates, and requests throughout the loan lifecycle
  • Support condominium review processes by gathering and evaluating required documentation
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders and borrowers to ensure timely updates and responses
  • Follow established workflows, job aids, and procedures while working independently in a remote environment
  • Contribute to a customer-focused experience by delivering responsive, detail-oriented service
  • Continuously build knowledge of mortgage operations, compliance standards, and internal processes
  • Provide flexible support to team initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage operations, loan processing, or disclosures
  • Working knowledge of TRID guidelines and disclosure timelines
  • Experience using Encompass MSP software required
  • Ability to interpret internal guidelines and ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production expectations
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
  • Prior experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Adaptable and proactive mindset, with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must live in or have experience working in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone hours
