Remote Temp information

What is a remote temp?

Remote temp jobs are temporary employment positions that can be performed from any location outside of a traditional office, typically from home. These roles are usually offered for a specific period or project, and can range from administrative support to customer service, data entry, and more specialized fields. Remote temp jobs provide flexibility for both employers and workers, making them a popular choice for those seeking short-term work or a flexible schedule.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote temp, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Temp, you generally need a flexible skill set in administrative tasks, time management, and basic computer literacy, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and remote communication platforms like Zoom or Slack is typically required. Strong self-motivation, communication, and adaptability help individuals stand out in this role. These skills ensure productivity, reliability, and seamless integration into various remote teams and projects.

What are some common challenges faced by remote temps, and how can they be addressed?

Remote Temp positions often require quick adaptation to new teams, technologies, and workflows, which can be challenging due to limited onboarding time and virtual communication. To overcome these challenges, it's helpful to proactively ask questions, set up brief introductory meetings with team members, and familiarize yourself with the company's remote work tools early on. Maintaining clear, frequent communication and being organized can also help you meet expectations and deliver results, even on short-term assignments.

BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) My Time 2 Launch | Marietta • Kennesaw • Acworth, GA Full-Time | Minimum 6-Month Commitment Required

MY TIME 2 LAUNCH is a neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy company founded by a nationally recognized BCBA who is also the proud parent of a child on the autism spectrum. We practice the Empowerment Model—a progressive, person-centered approach that builds genuine skills, self-advocacy, and autonomy rather than one-size-fits-all compliance training. Our clinical team partners with individuals and families to create meaningful change rooted in dignity and self-determination.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated BCBA to serve families in Northwest Atlanta. This role is for someone who leads with empathy, believes in neurodiversity, and wants to practice ABA the way it should be practiced—affirming, ethical, and empowering. You must be ready to make a meaningful six-month minimum commitment because the families who come to depend on you deserve consistency. Trust takes time. Progress takes time. These relationships are too important to treat as temporary.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized, strengths-based treatment plans using the Empowerment Model • Supervise and mentor RBTs with compassion and clinical excellence • Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals to ensure holistic support • Deliver parent/caregiver training that empowers families and affirms their child's identity • Monitor progress through data-driven decision-making while centering the individual's preferences and goals • Uphold the highest ethical standards in alignment with the BACB Ethics Code and our neurodiversity-affirming values

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: • Active BCBA certification in good standing • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field • Active or ability to obtain Georgia licensure (LBA) • Commitment to a minimum of six (6) months of service • Reliable transportation for in-home/community-based services in Marietta, Kennesaw, and Acworth • A heart for serving neurodivergent individuals and families with compassion • Ability to pass a Level II background screening

Preferred: • Experience with neurodiversity-affirming or assent-based ABA frameworks • Familiarity with the Empowerment Model or person-centered approaches • Bilingual candidates warmly welcomed • Telehealth experience

WHY MY TIME 2 LAUNCH?

• Work directly with a founder who has walked in your clients' families' shoes—with 20+ years of clinical experience to share • Grow under nationally recognized clinical mentorship invested in your development • Practice values-aligned ABA in a flexible, remote-friendly culture • Competitive compensation with growth opportunities as we expand nationally and internationally

At My Time 2 Launch, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people who are supported, respected, and valued. Your clinical voice matters. Your compassion matters. You matter.

Send your resume and a brief note about why neurodiversity-affirming ABA matters to you.

My Time 2 Launch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Flexible work from home options available.
