Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, where you will engage with clients through secure video conferencing on the Simple Practice platform. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and maintain consistent communication with clients to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, facilitating in-depth discussions, and employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records within the Simple Practice platform to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Collaborate with a network of mental health professionals, participating in team meetings, case reviews, and counselor support groups to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated on current best practices and continuing education opportunities by attending workshops and training related to mental health counseling.
• Communicate effectively through secure messaging, providing clients with timely updates and additional resources when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Solace, you will primarily work with a diverse client base, including adolescents, adults, and couples facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your expertise will be vital in fostering an environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to work towards their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field.
• Current licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in Tennessee or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong proficiency in treatment planning, psychotherapy techniques, and client engagement strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their therapy journey.
• Familiarity with conducting virtual therapy sessions and navigating telehealth frameworks is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
