Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' presenting issues, history, and therapeutic objectives.
• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, in collaboration with clients to ensure alignment with their goals.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment adjustments, adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices to enhance service delivery.
• Foster trust and rapport with clients, creating a safe environment that encourages openness and promotes healing.
• Utilize supportive techniques to empower clients in overcoming obstacles and achieving personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population in this role, catering to individuals and families facing various challenges. This includes adults dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and adolescents navigating emotional and psychological hurdles. Your expertise will enable you to adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate each client's unique circumstances, facilitating effective treatment and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a private practice or teletherapy setting.
• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and the implementation of therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities, with a strong focus on collaboration and client engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth or remote therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and patient management.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a plus.
