It’s also important to stay updated on best practices for remote care and to foster ongoing professional connections with colleagues for support and case consultation. To thrive in Remote Teletherapy, you need a professional mental health license (such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist), strong clinical assessment abilities, and prior therapeutic experience. Familiarity with secure telehealth platforms, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and adherence to HIPAA compliance are typically required. These skills are essential to ensure effective support for clients, maintain confidentiality, and deliver high-quality care remotely.

What is remote teletherapy?

A Remote Teletherapy job involves providing virtual therapy or counseling services to clients using secure online platforms. Therapists, such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, or mental health counselors, connect with clients via video calls, phone sessions, or messaging. We’re not a directory service, we’re a full service psychology practice. Our clinicians enjoy the full support of a treatment team, and our patients benefit from the full attention of a robust clinical organization.

You will define your own availability, make your own schedules, and work according to your lifestyle. Some WellQor therapists work part time, and others carry full caseloads. Whatever your lifestyle demands, we’re here to meet you where you’re at.
Why WellQor?
  • You’ll develop long-term relationships with patients via teletherapy.
