However, Remote Triage Nurses focus specifically on assessing patient symptoms to determine urgency, often in emergency or urgent care contexts. Remote Telephonic Rns may handle a broader range of patient inquiries, health education, and follow-up care. Both roles are vital in telehealth, but Triage Nurses typically require specialized triage training for emergency assessments.

To thrive as a Remote Telephonic RN, you need a valid RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience in case management or telephone triage. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication systems is typically required.
