• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and substance use history to devise personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to effectively engage clients and enhance their recovery process.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver coordinated, holistic care, actively participating in treatment meetings and case discussions.
• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, and available resources, fostering familial support and involvement in the treatment process.
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and documentation standards as outlined by regulatory agencies, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping to support treatment effectiveness and compliance.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of tailored treatment strategies to address both substance use issues and concurrent mental health conditions, helping clients achieve sustainable recovery.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals facing the challenges of substance use disorders, along with associated mental health issues. This diverse client population includes individuals from various backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a keen understanding of cultural competencies and sensitivity in therapeutic approaches.

• A current license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential to establishing a foundation for effective practice.
• Specialized training or demonstrated experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices for individuals grappling with substance abuse and mental health challenges.
• Exceptional skills in building therapeutic rapport, facilitating motivating conversations, and guiding clients toward lasting recovery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively synergize with multidisciplinary team members.

• Previous experience working in substance abuse treatment settings.
• Familiarity with holistic and integrated treatment models that address the interactions between mental health and substance use issues.
• Engagement with community resources and support systems to enhance client connectivity to ongoing recovery efforts.

• We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
