Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Solution Architect based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of observability by helping enterprise customers build modern, scalable, and efficient cloud-native environments.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, connecting customer challenges with innovative solutions and measurable business outcomes.
Working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams, you will design architectures, deliver impactful demonstrations, and guide complex technical decisions.
Your expertise will help organizations adopt open standards, improve reliability, and maximize the value of their observability strategies.
You will operate in a remote-first, high-growth environment where your ideas and technical leadership directly influence product evolution.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, engaging with customers, and driving meaningful technical transformation.

Accountabilities:

As an Enterprise Solution Architect, you will take ownership of designing technical solutions, supporting enterprise engagements, and helping customers successfully adopt advanced observability practices. You will act as a technical bridge between customer needs and product capabilities while contributing insights that shape future developments.

  • Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and modern distributed systems practices.
  • Translate complex enterprise requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical implementations.
  • Create and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) that demonstrate technical value and validate solutions in real-world environments.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and architecture discussions tailored to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales teams throughout the customer journey to position technical solutions effectively and support successful outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on observability best practices, telemetry architecture, data modeling, instrumentation strategies, and collector design.
  • Build and maintain reusable demonstration environments, reference architectures, and technical resources.
  • Collaborate with product teams by sharing customer insights and contributing to roadmap decisions.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing and help improve technical processes across teams.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled solutions architect with strong experience in observability, cloud-native technologies, and customer-facing technical roles. You should be comfortable translating complex concepts into clear solutions and collaborating across multiple teams.

  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability platforms, telemetry pipelines, and distributed tracing.
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry collection, data ingestion, and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and platform engineering practices.
  • Experience designing technical architectures, leading POCs, and demonstrating solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience with CRM tools, technical content creation, open-source contributions, or conference presentations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and experience working in a fast-growing technology environment are considered advantages.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary package with meaningful equity participation.
  • Flexible, remote-first working environment.
  • Access to offices in key locations for collaboration and team connection.
  • Monthly phone and internet allowance.
  • Location-specific benefits depending on your country of residence.
