The position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing counselors the flexibility to provide care from their own workspace while maintaining an exceptional level of accessibility for clients. Utilizing advanced telecommunication technologies, you will engage with clients in a professional and confidential manner, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems to document interactions and treatment plans securely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, establishing a baseline for treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans tailored to address each client's unique concerns, leveraging a variety of therapeutic modalities.
  • Engage with clients regularly through virtual sessions to monitor progress, provide ongoing support, and adapt treatment plans as necessary to promote healing.
  • Educate clients on coping strategies and tools necessary to manage symptoms associated with conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care is delivered.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in EHR systems to ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
  • Participate in peer consultations and team meetings to share insights, discuss treatment approaches, and foster a collaborative environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with a range of mental health disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, and trauma. Our commitment to diversity means that you will be equipped to provide culturally sensitive care that respects and acknowledges each client's background and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working as a mental health counselor.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a diverse range of mental health issues, with a preference for candidates experienced in both individual and group therapy settings.
  • Ability to utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of clients from various cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and a proven ability to provide calm and effective support in challenging scenarios.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the capacity to build rapport with clients promptly.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems and telehealth platforms for efficient service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits to support your well-being.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to help you plan for the future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy along with holiday pay to ensure work-life balance.
  • Continuing education opportunities for your professional development and growth.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values teamwork and personal development.
