Balance & Harmony Recovery Clinic is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote telehealth team. As an integral member of our clinical staff, you will provide essential mental health counseling services to diverse individuals and families, helping them navigate their emotional setbacks and achieve psychological well-being.

This position offers the unique flexibility of remote work through our telehealth platform. You will have the opportunity to connect with clients from the comfort of your home, utilizing advanced telecommunication technologies to conduct sessions. This setting is designed to offer both you and your clients a safe and convenient environment for therapy, breaking down geographical barriers to care.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Monitor and assess clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical assessments and feedback, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met.
• Provide ongoing support to caregivers, helping them understand and manage behavioral health challenges faced by their loved ones.
• Utilize collaborative approaches to proactively address behaviors that may hinder progress and recovery, fostering a environment of accountability and growth.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, complying with all regulatory requirements.

You'll work with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing culturally competent care and ensuring that each individual's unique circumstances are considered in their treatment. Your role is paramount in facilitating emotional healing and resilience among clients in various stages of their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts.
• A solid understanding of the psychological effects of prescribed medications on mental health.
• Exceptional communication skills that promote empathy and understanding, essential for building therapeutic relationships.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling you to navigate complex client scenarios with sensitivity.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in mental health counseling or a similar role, with direct mental health client interaction.
• Relevant certifications or specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or family therapy are highly desirable.

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, determined by your level of experience and expertise.
