Job Summary: The Electrical Apprentice is responsible for assisting the Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician with the installation of electrical equipment and materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
   Assist with the installation of electrical equipment, including cabinets, meters, sub-metering, conduit, and wiring
   Adhere to all Company, customer, and regulatory safety policies, including OSHA requirements and proper use of PPE
   Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and schematics as directed
   Utilize electrical testing equipment as required
   Assist with site preparation, grounding, bonding, and basic troubleshooting under supervision
   Maintain a clean and orderly work environment 
   Complete all required Company documentation 
   Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

Education: High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education

Experience: 
   One to two years of electrical experience 
   Less than one-year of wireless telecommunications industry experience 
   Ability to operate hand and power tools
   Knowledge of electrical codes and licensing
   Must have or obtain and maintain OSHA Construction 10-hour Safety Training Card
   Must have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
   Must have or obtain and maintain RF Radiation Safety & Awareness certification
   Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
   Understanding of conduit bending and wire pulling techniques
   Ability to measure, cut, and assemble electrical conduit and wiring
   Willingness to learn and follow instructions related to electrical codes and standards

Technical Skills:
   Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
   Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
   Ability to assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician
   Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work (e.g., wire strippers, drills, multimeters)
   Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and diagrams with guidance
   Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and report issues to senior electricians
   Basic math skills for measuring, calculating loads, and determining material needs
   Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and safe work practices

Soft Skills:
   Consistently demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality 
   Works effectively as part of a team; supports a positive and collaborative work environment 
   Follows instructions and accepts direction from licensed electricians and supervisors
   Maintains attention to detail when performing work and completing documentation

   Maintains awareness of surroundings and safety risks while working with heavy equipment 
   Takes accountability for tools, materials, and assigned responsibilities 

Physical Requirements: 
   Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
   Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements
   Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly 
   Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and grasp materials and tools with both hands
   Ability to work long hours in outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, or snow 
   Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time 
   Ability to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), including fall protection, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
   Comfortable working in confined spaces and at varying elevations 
   Ability to work long and unpredictable hours 
   Ability to travel away from home up to 75% of the time, including weekends and extended travel. Travel includes local site travel or national travel depending on business needs. 

$18 - $25 an hour
