Job description

StandOut by ADP is hiring a Senior Lead Product Manager.

  • Do you have a passion for unlocking the potential of teams and inspiring leaders to make a real difference in the workplace?
  • Have you taken products from concept to commercialization using the latest technology and achieved market success?
  • Are you excited by the challenge of shaping the future of work, leadership development, and employee engagement?

This role is hybrid onsite days a week in our Alpharetta GA offfice and not eligible or remote.

At StandOut, we believe that leadership isn't just about results, it's about people. Our culture thrives on empowering leaders and employees, cultivating an environment where everyone's strengths are understood, valued, and put to work every day. We're transforming how organizations approach employee engagement and leadership development, helping leaders build stronger, more connected, high-performing teams.

As the pace of change accelerates with AI and evolving workforce expectations, we are seeking a visionary Senior Lead Product Manager to help define the next generation of talent, engagement, and leadership solutions. This leader will drive product strategy while remaining deeply connected to customers, emerging technologies, and the future of work.

StandOut is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to lead our industry-leading platform focused on helping leaders identify and activate the strengths of every team member. In this strategic leadership role, you will collaborate closely with executives, business stakeholders, product managers, UX teams, data scientists, and engineering leaders to define and deliver transformative experiences for global organizations.

We're looking for someone who excels when no two days are the same. Integrity, resilience, curiosity, and a relentless focus on innovation are must-haves. You will serve as a product visionary who can anticipate market shifts, identify emerging customer needs, and translate those insights into bold product strategies and actionable roadmaps.

In addition to being a strategic product leader, we're looking for a hands-on AI builder. You are comfortable leveraging modern AI development and Vibe Coding tools such as VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Kiro CLI, and related AI-assisted development platforms to rapidly prototype, validate, and accelerate product innovation. You understand how to partner effectively with engineering teams while actively using these tools yourself to explore ideas, create proof of concepts, and accelerate learning.

You have a strong understanding of modern Agentic Development Lifecycle (ADLC) practices, including agentic product development, responsible AI principles, experimentation, deployment, observability, and continuous improvement. You understand how to balance innovation, scalability, quality, security, and compliance while delivering customer value at speed.

To thrive in this role, you must be able to lead multiple cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and bring clarity to ambiguous challenges. You are equally comfortable discussing market strategy with executives, facilitating technical architecture discussions with engineers, and engaging directly with customers to understand their evolving needs. You have extensive experience creating and communicating product vision, roadmap priorities, investment strategies, and measurable business outcomes.

Our best product leaders are domain experts, enthusiastic builders, and thought leaders who stay ahead of industry trends. Your voice will shape product strategy, influence the future of talent and engagement technology, and help define how leaders and teams succeed in the AI era.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Drive Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy, focusing on empowering leaders to understand and leverage the strengths of every team member. Help shape strategies that elevate team engagement and performance through strengths-based leadership practices.
  • Focus on User Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback from business stakeholders, implementation and service teams, leaders and customer teams using StandOut, design and track engagement metrics as well as business outcomes to inform product decisions that elevate the employee experience.
  • Thought Leadership and Product Advocacy: Motivate leaders to leverage platform features, regular check-ins, performance conversations, coaching intelligence, and engagement pulse to foster ongoing growth and meaningful team interactions.
  • Build Prototypes and Collaborate for Design Excellence:As part of the Pre-Builder team, build prototypes in VS Code, partner with UX designers to build and refine features that make engagement and leadership tools intuitive, seamless, and actionable for leaders and teams
  • Facilitate and Document Technical Discussions: Run collaborative sessions with engineering teams to address complex challenges and optimize the platform for scalability, data reliability, and data-driven insights.
  • Product Backlog and Roadmap Management: Organize, maintain, and prioritize product backlog, ensuring alignment with key business, product, and technology priorities.
  • Annual and Quarterly Planning:Collaborate closely with customer experience, operations, PMO, engineering, as well as other cross-functional groups and partners to plan team capacity and product releases, ensuring readiness, clarity of scope, and alignment. Lead and manage Agile ceremonies and rituals ensuring tasks are tracked, progress is transparent, and enhancements supporting engagement or leadership tools are prioritized for iteration.
  • Roadmap Reviews and Alignment: Regularly review and update the product roadmap with StandOut stakeholders, gathering input from users, customers, leadership, and HR partners, to ensure that StandOut evolves in line with US and global customer expectations as well as emerging technology trends, e.g., GenAI.
  • Prioritize with Data and Insights: Use engagement data, user analytics, and business outcomes to drive strategic and tactical decisions. Create product KPIs, monitor platform usage, gather performance data and post-release feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, client satisfaction, and retention.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Education: You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • Experience: 7+ years of client-facing experience in product management, with a focus on consumer, learning, development, marketplace, or relevant Talent Management/HR tech applications.
  • Experience in designing and building of GenAI-powered applications is preferred.
  • Experience in managing global markets and requirements, translations and localizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence without authority.
  • Track record of successfully launching products "0 to 1" as well as managing end-to-end product lifecycles.
