Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions that build a sense of community among clients, encouraging sharing and peer support.
• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling to explore clients’ thoughts and emotions, developing personalized coping strategies tailored to each individual.
• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that target their unique needs and aspirations, ensuring a focus on achievable goals.
• Monitoring Progress: Utilize assessment tools and regular feedback techniques to track clients’ progress and adapt treatment plans as required.
• Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and consult on complex cases, enhancing the overall treatment experience for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30, a critical demographic often facing unique challenges related to mental health, identity, and life transitions. You will support clients who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use issues. By fostering a supportive therapeutic environment, you will help them find their voice, overcome obstacles, and unlock their potential.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field and possess a valid and active LMHC license. Additionally, candidates should have a deep understanding of mental health issues specifically affecting young adults and display a commitment to client-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, we highly value familiarity with evidence-based therapy practices and telehealth platforms. Experience working with teenagers and young adults in group or individual settings is preferred, as this will enhance your effectiveness in the role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
