Garden Path Counseling is excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who will play a vital role in our remote hospice service. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000. • Conduct comprehensive individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the emotional needs of patients dealing with terminal illnesses and their families.
• Facilitate supportive discussions that help patients process grief, fear, and anxiety while promoting a sense of acceptance and closure.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans are up-to-date and reflective of the patient’s journey and emotional state.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate mental health support with physical care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient welfare.
• Maintain clinical documentation in a timely fashion, meeting regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.

The primary focus of this role is on patients in hospice care, who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges associated with serious illness and end-of-life concerns. Our clients often include elderly individuals facing terminal conditions as well as their families, who require support during this emotionally taxing time.

• A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and active LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing counseling or therapy.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with hospice or palliative care populations.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques.
• Specialized training in crisis intervention and working with children and teens would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health record systems.
