This is a fully remote position, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while serving clients predominantly located in Elgin, Illinois. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health to identify their needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Provide both individual and couples therapy sessions, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans in response to clients' progress and emerging concerns, fostering continual growth and healing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, coordinating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Stay informed on the latest research in the field and participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Provide crisis intervention and manage acute distress situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in critical moments.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, helping them access additional resources and support services as needed.
• Promote self-care practices for both yourself and your clients, emphasizing emotional resilience and burnout prevention.

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including adolescents, adults, and couples, each facing various life challenges. Your expertise will guide individuals through personal issues such as trauma, relationship difficulties, and family dynamics. • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy.
• Ability to manage and complete client assessments and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting offering therapeutic services.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and providing services through digital platforms.
