This role is situated within a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexible scheduling and the convenience of working from home. The ideal candidate will operate in a structured environment with a focus on virtual communication, making use of various technologies to deliver therapy sessions, assessments, and consultations efficiently and effectively.

• Conduct thorough, culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to gather comprehensive information about each patient’s unique experiences and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, considering the patients' cultural, emotional, and psychological contexts.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing an array of mental health concerns, from anxiety to depression, in a supportive space.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to guarantee a holistic, well-coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support as needed, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatments, and connect them with community resources to enhance support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including participation in case conferences and cultural competency training sessions.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to continuously improve therapeutic strategies.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas is mandatory.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to apply evidence-based treatment modalities is essential.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy using inclusive practices is highly valued.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations, are crucial for success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with a variety of clients, fostering trusting and productive therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology platforms for documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

• Previous experience working with multicultural populations and an understanding of unique cultural perspectives on mental health.
• Background in telehealth delivery is a plus, as it can enhance the effectiveness of virtual therapy sessions.
• Engagement in community outreach programs or initiatives that promote mental health awareness and inclusivity.
