Remote Technical Jobs in High Point, NC (NOW HIRING)

To assist in the efforts of the Passport Technical Support (TAC) team to ensure reliability and serviceability for New Product Development and Production products by maintaining the flow of technical information between Gilbarco Authorized Service Contractors (ASC) and end-users.  

Key Responsibilities

Internal Technical Support 
    Complete daily assignments from the Technical Support Team Supervisor/Lead following instructions, standard work, and pre-established guidelines. 
    Communicate progress on objectives and development plans.
    Update TAC SharePoint Forum with new findings and troubleshooting tips.
 

Background and Skill

    Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent work experience)
    Minimum 2-6 years' experience in Service Support Center or equivalent experience
    POS ASC Certifications
    Knowledge of PC Hardware (motherboard, hard drive, RAM, etc)
    Knowledge of various Windows OS
    Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.

Configuration management software - Automated installation software
Data base user interface and query software - Database software; Microsoft SQL Server
Desktop communications software - Remote control software; File Transfer applications
