Role: Workday Technical Analyst

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) - candidates MUST be direct-hire eligible (Must be either US Citizen or Green Card, no H4).
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: 100% Remote (Must reside within the US, any timezone except PST)
Start Date: ASAP

Priority Update From Hiring Manager (Must Focus On):

  • Strong Functional Financials (Workday Financials expertise)
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills
  • Experience with Adaptive / Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Integrations experience (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio preferred)
  • Security Administration & Security Optimization experience

Candidates lacking strong financials + stakeholder management + security + adaptive exposure will NOT be considered.

Position Summary:

The Workday Technical Analyst is a hands-on expert across the Workday suite (HCM, Financials, SCM, and Planning) with a core focus on security, integrations, reporting, and functional configuration. This role supports both strategic initiatives and daily operations to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant Workday functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Support

  • Provide SME-level support for Workday HCM, Financials, SCM, and Planning (Adaptive).
  • Assist stakeholders with configuration updates and troubleshooting.
  • Support release management, testing, and functional enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations.

Security Administration:

  • Design and maintain security roles, domain/business process policies, and dynamic groups.
  • Lead security audits and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Manage authentication strategies (SSO, MFA) and environment access controls.
  • Respond to incidents; conduct root cause analysis and remediation.

Integrations & Technical Support:

  • Develop and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP.
  • Manage integration lifecycle from design to post-go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance.
  • Support secure data migrations and authentication protocols.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Build reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Prism Analytics.
  • Ensure secure and compliant data access.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years across Workday modules (HCM, Financials, SCM, Adaptive, Prism, Strategic Sourcing).
  • 3+ years of Workday Security Administration.
  • Strong experience with integrations and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Report Writer, and security configuration.
  • Workday certifications preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
