As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of crucial tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, formulating clinically sound diagnoses, and crafting individualized treatment plans that address specific needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the diverse goals of your clients.
• Providing crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and actionable coping strategies to individuals in acute distress.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring that treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results are documented per ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resources—to provide comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, recovery options, and community resources, while advocating for client needs and rights.
• Staying engaged in ongoing professional development through workshops, certification courses, and other educational opportunities to keep abreast of the evolving landscape of mental health therapy.

• Active and valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic competencies.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling setting.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, making you an effective collaborator and advocate for your clients.
• Ability to operate autonomously while also engaging constructively within a team framework.
• Unwavering commitment to ethical and professional standards in mental health practice.

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, candidates with additional expertise in specialized treatment modalities or a proven track record of working with specific populations will be given preference. Prior exposure to a remote counseling environment or virtual therapy platforms is advantageous.
