About the Opportunity

Platinum DB is interested in working with an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end SAP BTP, SAC Planning, SAC Analytics, S4 Cloud EPPM project, with a focus on custom BTP development and Event Mess implementations. The PM role will involve leading cross-functional teams, preparing the Microsoft Detailed Project Schedule, coordinating project activities, and ensuring successful project delivery within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. This project is offers a competitive rate.


Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Project Schedule using MS Project
  • Managing project utilizing SAP Project Activate methodology
  • Excellent SAP technical skills
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project close-out.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
  • Manage project risks, proactively addressing any issues that arise during project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate resources, including internal teams, external consultants, and vendors, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Provide regular project status updates, progress reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance processes and standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and assess their potential impact on project delivery and outcomes.
  • Leverage project management tools and methodologies to streamline project processes and enhance productivity.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 15 years of extensive experience working within the SAP marketplace with a focus on project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end SAP projects, including S/4 HANA and BTP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of the project management lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in the IT consulting industry is highly desirable.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
