We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager / Business Analyst to join our Technology organization, supporting the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of electronic trading platforms within the institutional business.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management skills with hands-on project delivery experience in capital markets technology. This individual will manage cross-functional initiatives involving trading workflows, integrations, and user experience improvements, working closely with developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

This role requires exceptional organization, communication, and analytical abilities, as well as a collaborative approach to managing complex technology initiatives that directly support Tradeweb's growth and innovation goals.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.  There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off sites.

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Management: Oversee the development and management of products related to trading algorithms, user interfaces, networks, and cybersecurity, ensuring they meet business objectives, user needs, and institutional priorities.
  • Fixed Income Trading Systems: Support and manage Fixed Income trading systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, QA, analysts, cybersecurity experts, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders across regions to ensure seamless execution. Maintain proactive, transparent communication with senior management, clients, and cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and drive accountability.
  • Trading Systems Management: Lead the coordination, development, and enhancement of trading systems and algorithms, ensuring all business and technical requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Governance & Planning: Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to define objectives, build business cases, develop project charters, and manage resources, timelines, and risk in accordance with PMO standards.
  • Requirements & Delivery Oversight: Lead the gathering, validation, and documentation of detailed requirements; review technical implementations to ensure they meet business goals, regulatory obligations, and delivery commitments.
  • End-to-End Execution: Manage projects through the full lifecycle from ideation through production delivery, ensuring quality, traceability, and timely completion of all milestones.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Maintain visibility into project risks and dependencies, escalate appropriately, and drive timely resolution with ownership and clarity.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present updates, dashboards, and communications that clearly articulate progress, issues, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive root cause analysis and process optimization, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, performance, and user experience.
  • Testing & Implementation: Define use cases, oversee business testing, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure seamless transition and stable release into production environments.
  • Client & Product Adoption: Partner with relationship management and client services teams to promote adoption of platform enhancements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation of product plans, requirements, project artifacts, and risk management activities.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative, communicative, and professional environment that values accountability, transparency, and continuous learning. Demonstrate persistence, ownership, and strong interpersonal skills in achieving team and product objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in product management and project delivery within fintech, investment banking, or financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of trading algorithms, user interfaces, networks, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience supporting and managing Fixed Income trading systems and related workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of capital markets and electronic trading environments.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology, and operations teams in multiple regions and time zones.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with frequent releases and evolving priorities.
  • Solid technical proficiency, including experience with SQL, JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, and a proactive, "can-do" approach to problem-solving and delivery execution.

  • The current pay range for this role is currently $175,000 to $225,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.
  • This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb's discretionary bonus program. 
  • This role is expected to remain open until 9/30/26.
