Territory Sales Representative
Location: Morganton, NC
Territory: Greater Charlotte Market
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 9-12 Months (Open-Ended Potential)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Territory Sales Representative to help expand a growing last-mile delivery partner network throughout the Greater Charlotte market. In this field-based sales role, you will engage directly with local business owners, introduce partnership opportunities, qualify prospects, guide them through the enrollment process, and support onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and visit local businesses within assigned territories through daily field outreach.
  • Present and promote partnership opportunities to prospective business owners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with small business owners to generate new opportunities.
  • Qualify businesses and guide them through application, vetting, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage leads, sales activities, and pipeline data within Salesforce CRM.
  • Support local recruitment events, networking opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Partner with Chambers of Commerce, economic development organizations, and local business groups to generate referrals.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and sales activity tracking.
  • Import, update, and manage lead data within Salesforce.

Qualifications
Required
  • 1-2+ years of sales, customer service, or business development experience.
  • Experience in outside or field sales.
  • CRM experience required; Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Preferred
  • Door-to-door sales experience.
  • Territory sales experience.
  • Automotive sales, retail sales, field marketing, or real estate sales.
  • Experience working in commission-driven environments.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.

Compensation & Incentives
Uncapped Commission Structure
Earn up to $350 for every business partner successfully launched:
  • $75 per completed application submitted
  • $150 upon approval and readiness to launch
  • $125 after completion of four weeks of active operations

Top performers regularly earn $85,000+ annually, with potential for six-figure earnings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
