Job description

As 3rd Party Integration Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure the seamless integration of DoorBird products into international smart home systems, building automation, and security platforms. You will be responsible for the integration, certification, and support of global integration partners while continuously expanding and optimizing our integration portfolio with our software development team.

This role combines technical expertise, project management, and international stakeholder collaboration within an innovative IoT and smart home environment.
 
We are looking for a team member for our locations in Jacksonville, USA, San Francisco, USA, or Berlin, Germany.
Your ResponsibilitiesStrategic Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global third-party integration strategy for DoorBird products together with our sales team and our software development. 
  • Identify and evaluate new integration opportunities based on market trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Support the selection and development of strategic technology and integration partners.
  • Prioritize integration initiatives together with our software development team.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical integration of DoorBird products into external platforms and ecosystems.
  • Coordinate compatibility testing and certification processes with partners and other third-party providers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and developer resources.
  • Analyze technical requirements and support international partners during implementation processes.
  • Ensure interoperability, scalability, and technical quality of integrations.
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute international integration projects with third-party vendors and technology partners.
  • Act as the interface between R&D, Product Management, Sales, Support, and external partners.
  • Monitor project timelines, integration milestones, and technical deliverables.
  • Support internal teams with technical expertise related to integrations and connected systems.
Communication & Partner Support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global integration partners, vendors, and system integrators.
  • Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and product integration training sessions.
  • Represent DoorBird at international trade fairs, conferences, and partner events.
  • Support partners in troubleshooting and resolving integration-related challenges.
Your ProfileProfessional Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in IoT, smart home technologies, building automation, security systems, or third-party integration management.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, APIs, communication protocols, cloud architectures, and interoperability standards.
  • Experience managing technical projects with international stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
