Job description

Job Title: Electrical Estimator Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania Type: Direct Hire Compensation: Up to $115,000.00 Contractor Work Model: Hybrid โ€“ onsite and remote Hours: 40.0 hours per week

Overview Senior Electrical Estimator to deliver precise project cost estimates, manage vendor quotes, and support competitive bids.

Responsibilities

  • Project Review: Analyze project plans, drawings, schedules, and specifications to determine total scope.

  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

  • Software Estimation: Utilize McCormick and Bluebeam to generate precise project estimates.

  • Market Analysis: Adjust estimates based on current market conditions, regional labor rates, and material costs.

  • Bid Prep & Support: Build comprehensive bid proposals with the team and present technical pricing rationale at bid meetings.

  • Vendor Procurement: Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Cost Tracking: Generate regular reports on cost tracking metrics and overall estimating accuracy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Engineering and Project Management teams to resolve technical ambiguities.

Requirements
