About the job Travel Heavy Duty Tire Technician Summary Only candidates with their own tire and wheel equipment for roadside or on-location services will be considered. Prior experience is required. The Heavy Duty Tire Technician is responsible for performing inspection, repair, and replacement of tires on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial fleets. This role requires ensuring that tires are properly balanced, mounted, and inflated while maintaining a high standard of safety and service.

The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential tire services to commercial vehicles and ensuring optimal performance for clients. Candidates must have a modern smartphone with an active internet connection to efficiently manage orders and assignments through the company app. Proficiency in navigating mobile applications, digital platforms, and app-based workflows is essential for seamless task execution and communication. Compensation ranges from $37,440 to $66,560 per year, based on experience and availability.

Job Specifics Perform thorough inspections of tires on heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, and commercial fleets. Repair and replace tires, ensuring accurate balancing and mounting of large tires. Patch leaks, repair punctures, and verify tire inflation levels.
