• Conduct engaging virtual therapy sessions with clients using secure video conferencing tools, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for open dialogue.
• Perform thorough assessments to accurately identify each client's mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques and strategies to meet the diverse needs of your clients.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client records, including detailed progress notes, treatment strategies, and outcome evaluations, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive care strategies that ensure holistic support for clients.

The clients you will support include individuals facing various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Many clients seek therapy for life transitions, stress management, and relationship issues. Your role will entail developing rapport and trust, enabling clients to openly explore their feelings and experiences, ultimately leading to improved mental well-being.

• A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida is essential.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting.
• Proficiency in conducting virtual therapy sessions and familiarity with video conferencing technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively and empathetically.

Vital Edge Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications, along with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
