Work Environment

This full-time position functions within a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexible work hours and the ability to manage your schedule effectively to accommodate both patient needs and personal commitments. While the standard work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you may have the opportunity to adjust your hours based on the demands of your client load.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patient needs and tailor individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer evidence-based therapies, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, during individual, couples, or family sessions.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that nurture community and provide crisis intervention as needed during mental health emergencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to engage in their recovery process actively.
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions, remaining current with advancements in mental health research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
