• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, emotional well-being, and any psychological disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual counseling sessions, family therapy discussions, and group therapy workshops.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress through regular evaluations and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health situations.
• Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of client records, strictly adhering to all legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals—to deliver comprehensive and integrated care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.
• Attend regular supervision sessions and training opportunities to continuously enhance clinical skills and best practices.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and professional standards as governed by relevant licensing boards and mental health organizations.

As a remote mental health therapist at Sea View Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our inclusive approach prioritizes understanding the unique cultural, social, and personal backgrounds of each client, tailoring treatment to support their specific circumstances. This role requires a commitment to compassionate care and a genuine interest in the mental health needs of various populations.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required to ensure expertise in mental health interventions.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is mandatory (acceptable licenses include LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R).
• Demonstrable clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential for evaluating and addressing client needs effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage clients empathetically and build therapeutic relationships.
• Proven commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality in line with legal requirements.
• Ability to function independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
• Desire for continuous professional development and an eagerness to learn about new therapeutic techniques.

• At least three years of experience in a related mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong background in providing effective therapeutic interventions.
• Prior experience in Telehealth or remote counseling environments is highly desirable, equipping you to utilize technology efficiently.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.

Sea View Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial compensation, employees are eligible for:
