Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

  • Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions that allow clients to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another, fostering a supportive community.
  • Conduct Individual Therapy: Provide personalized, empathetic counseling that aids clients in exploring their thoughts and emotions, helping them establish coping strategies and actionable plans.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their specific mental health needs and objectives.
  • Monitor Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track client outcomes and progress, ensuring that therapy adjustments align with their evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to facilitate comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our treatment center emphasizes holistic approaches, catering to the complexities of young adult life transitions within a nurturing environment aimed at long-term recovery.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient settings or community health clinics.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
