• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients, focusing on their personal history, presenting issues, and risk factors to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care techniques.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate personal growth and teach effective coping strategies that align with clients’ academic and social needs.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse array of health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate an integrated approach to mental health care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, using effective de-escalation techniques and making referrals as necessary.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for additional support.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and sessions meticulously to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in continuous professional development opportunities.

The primary focus will be on students dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in educational or child-focused mental health settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Experience with individual and group therapy approaches tailored to various client needs.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
