Renewed Counseling Hub is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position is essential in providing high-quality outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families in the Ontario, California area. You will play a critical role in evaluating, assessing, and delivering therapeutic services aimed at promoting mental wellness and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients.
  • Continuously monitor and document client progress and outcomes, contributing to a multi-disciplinary team approach.
  • Provide guidance and support to family members, enhancing the therapeutic process for children in our care.
  • Forge strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, integrating evidence-based strategies as well as the Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching techniques to enhance the developmental skills of clients.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for ongoing case management and client well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily serve children and their families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your interventions will support a diverse client demographic, and you will work closely with families to empower them in their child's mental health journey, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
  • Active Associate or Licensed status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently manage documentation and billing hours.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with children and families in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
